Christmas for children 2008

Since many years church in Torun organizes Children Christmas outreach. It is connected with shoe boxes distribution. Most of them we receive from “Samaritan Purse” organization. As a local church in Torun we make also our own parcels, each Christmas about 60. Children who are every year they are selected from various areas nearby Torun or from the city itself. We make contact with orphanages or other sort of children care homes. In addition to the shoe boxes children take home biblical literature usually written on Christmas subject. We are very glad that in this simple way a piece of gospel can be shared and we as evangelicals can be known in city of Torun. The church is involve also in a regular ministry with children during the whole year, which can be seen in our blog. Thank you for your prayers for this ministry. Thanksgiving in Torun's way - October 12th

Sunday morning service October 12th was a little bit different. It was a special time for us when we expressed our thanksgiving to God for His goodness through the whole last year. In preaching, prayers and songs we felt His encouragement in our hearts. Glory to God !
