From Tadeusz and Ewa - January 2006

Welcome first time to our blogspot.
This is something new for us and we are not sure how it can work for us, but let's try be younger and use modern way of comunication...

Family

Christmas is over. As a family we spent this time together in Torun. It was a little bit not an easy way for Tadeusz to move around, due his convalescence process after surgery. He left hospital on December 14th. Now things seems to go better way, that's what doctors say. We are praising God that healing process is gaining speed. It is good lesson to learn to be in the hands of the Lord.
At home things have not changed. Four people live in the house. Since Lukasz married Kasia they live in another flat in Torun. Mateusz who is still single (21) lives with us. Tadeusz mother in February 14th will start 89 year !!!. We are thankful God for Tadeusz parents who were great testimony in our faith. Tadeusz mother is weak physically but strong spiritually. It may happen that she fell on floor. God protects her from any harm. She longs for time to be with the Lord. Ewa seems to have cold right now and try to get rid of it using home medicine (Vit C, honey, Etc.)

Church life

December 18th Torun's church organized family meeting at university hall in Torun for 800 people (mainly children).

Following this event, in January 27th and 28th we had two meetings for children. This time they took place at the church premises. First one was on Saturday at 4.00pm and the second meeting was on Sunday 28th also at 4.00pm. Each time it was for different group of children. We provided 200 invitations for social agency dealing with poor families in Torun and asked to distribute these invitations amongs people. Two groups each about 100 children plus their parents gathered at times. Program was long enough to presents in a simple way the gospel through some songs and movies. Parents got a form to fill up on what events they would like to be invited in future to the church.





From all of our meetings which we organized last years we had nearly 900 adresses. This gave us a "sort of headache". Now we consider the ways how we can reach them for Lord. How to set a net ? Our plan is to organize children camp. The nearest one will be February 20th -25th, then in March 11th again one Saturday meeting for 100 kids. In April 8th we want to invite as many as we can for strictly evengelistic meeting with: message, testimonies and songs.
All these events require God's wisdom and provisions in every area of life. In situations like this Word from Proverbs rings in our mind: "Human heart considers His plan but Lord determinates his steps" Yes, we have plans but Lord will lead us through all circumstances.

Maybe for now it will be all, as I said early, this is for the first time when we publish our newsletter... maybe not the last one, will see how much energy we will have to issue such letters from time to time.
